Partial Suspension

Partially suspending a person using ropes and other restraints while keeping them on the ground.

Advanced Level
High Risk
Partial suspension is a form of rope bondage where only part of a participant's weight is supported by ropes while the remainder stays in contact with the floor or another stable surface. It is generally considered less physically demanding than full suspension but still requires proper rope placement, circulation checks, and understanding of basic suspension safety principles. Participants should communicate continuously and stop immediately if numbness, pain, or discomfort develops. Proper training and gradual progression are recommended before attempting more advanced suspension techniques.
