Mummification is a bondage practice that involves wrapping a person's body in materials such as plastic wrap, bandages, or specialized restraint products to restrict movement. Because wrapping can affect circulation, breathing, temperature regulation, and communication, careful planning and continuous supervision are essential throughout the scene. The person's face and airway should remain unobstructed unless appropriate expertise and additional safety measures are in place. Mutual consent, emergency release tools, and constant monitoring are critical components of safer mummification play.
